Another big week with analysis and picks for the heated Michigan vs Michigan State rivalry and college football playoff”elimination” games with 3 matchups involving 5-2 teams.

Another huge week in the Big Ten with several games involving teams who want to stay in the college football playoff picture like Washington, MIchigan, USC, and Nebraska.

It’s Narrative Defining time in Week 7 in the Big Ten. Is Indiana a true Top 5 team? Is Illinois a true playoff contender? And is USC or Michigan going to set themselves up for a playoff push? Plus, many other great games. This is gonna be awesome.

Week 5 is highlighted by the Whiteout game of Oregon at Penn St. and playoff implication clashes of IU at Iowa, USC at Illinois, and #1 Ohio State at Washington.

Illinois at Indiana is finally here with huge stakes on the line including positioning the winner to make the playoffs and proving for each last year was no fluke. And Michigan at Nebraska has big stakes too.

I had a rough Week 2 only picking one winner. Looking for a bounce back this week as we get the third important Big Ten vs SEC matchup of the year when Wisconsin visits Alabama.

Big Jeff’s Week 1 record vs the FanDuel spread for my Top 5 Big Ten games (below) was 3-2.  I will take that given all the unknowns in the first games of college football.

Last year my regular season picks vs. the spread were 45-35-1 and then 5-3 in the Playoffs for Big Ten teams. This year I will be picking 5 games each week.
